RESILIENCE DURING COVID-19

With no doubt we all know that we are still passing through the stages of COVID-19 trauma and challenges.
This obviously has had an adverse effect on the mental health of many, especially the widows and those who are lone parents at this difficult period including the people who are going through bereavement.

However, admitting to the fact that you are suffering from mental health issues could be attached to some sort of stigma, especially in the African community. Mostly because of that, we never want to show our weaknesses therefore we pretend to be okay even when we are far from it.
Meanwhile , we all know that a problem shared is a problem half solved. It takes much strength to be open and accept our imperfections, but our mental wellbeing is very important and we don’t want to damage it.

It is time to speak out and talk about your worries. We are here to support you, connect with us. You will be happy you did.

Also, there will be an ongoing support of cultural food and essentials throughout the period of this project.

We will provide support on more information and enlightenment on COVID-19 vaccines during this project period.
